On the occasion of the 33. Anniversary of the Establishment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ambassador to Turkey Fazıl Can Korkut visited the mausoleum of Turkey’s founder, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and laid a wreath to mark his country’s gratitude.<br><br>The Embassy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Ankara also hosted a Reception on 15 November 2016, in Ankara Swissotel.<br><br>The reception was attended by the Chief of General Staff of Turkey H.E. Mr. Hulusi Akar, Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey H.E. Mr. Nurettin Canikli, Deputy of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey H.E. Mr. Ahmet Aydın, high ranking military officials, Heads of Political Parties, diplomatic and military personnel of many Embassies in Ankara, heads of Municipalities, bureaucrats, artists, representatives of Non-Governmental organizations and members of press.
