Turkish Post (PTT) Stamp Museum Ready for Visitors

The stamps put into circulation by the Turkish Post since its foundation in 1863, are exhibited in the Turkish Post Museum which was opened in 2013 in order to reflect the experiences acquired so far and duly provide next generations with accumulated information in this field. In the Museum, there are; - materials used in post operations from past till today, - devices and tools used in communication, - stamps used in the Ottoman and Republican periods, - stamps of other countries exhibited in a separate hall, - recreation room, areas for educational applications and a small 3D cinema hall for children, - philatelic and souvenir shops and - a cafeteria. The Museum also provides foreign missions a convenient venue for their organizations such as exhibitions and openings and it could be an interesting destination for foreign delegations visiting Turkey.
