President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Ambassador of Vatican Paul Fitzpatrick Russell at the Presidential Complex, on August 31st, 2016. Ambassador Russell, who presented his letter of credence to President Erdoğan at the reception, previously served as Chargé d'affaires ad interim of Vatican in Taipei.
